Mallory Ansley
I am a natural light portrait photographer, born and raised in the Roseville area, who has been capturing memories since 2023. For 8 years I was a local high school dance teacher, 5 of those years also being a dance team coach. My husband and I met at the school we both worked at, and we have an amazing son together. I love doing anything with my family, choreographing & doing costumes for high school musicals, baking gluten free goodies, working in the garden, going to the beach, dancing like no one's watching, decorating for holidays, and learning new things.
Since having my son, photography has become more important to me than ever. I want to capture every moment of his life, big or small, so that I can hold onto it forever. Time goes by so fast, and my son has made me be more intentional about being present and always finding the pockets of joy.
I want to be a part of freezing the special moments in your life. I aim to be your hype woman during your photo session, and to create a fun and comfortable environment for you to express yourself. I hope that my photos are ones that you cherish for a lifetime, and that you frequently look back on them, always remembering how you felt in that chapter of your life.

FAQ
Is there a retainer?
Yes. To reserve your session date and time, a signed session agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer (paid by credit card) are required at the time of booking. The retainer covers the photographer’s time and talent. Your session is not considered booked until both are received.
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your session.
Reschedules are permitted with at least 72 hours notice via email, or in the event of inclement weather (at the photographer’s discretion).
How do I receive my images?
All edited images are delivered as an online gallery, including free high resolution digital downloads. Images are delivered within 2 weeks after the date of the session.
How many images will I receive?
Each package includes a minimum number of edited images, carefully selected by me to represent the best moments from your session. If there are additional images that meet my quality standards, I include those at no extra cost.
Are there any additional fees?
My prices are all inclusive. You will have a pre-session consultation (typically via email), have the photo session, then receive digital images (of Photographer's choosing) for you to download and print. There are no extra packages to purchase or hidden costs.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a natural light photographer. I aim to only use natural light whenever possible.
I shoot with a Canon R6 Mark II.
Do you do sessions at locations that are more than 30 minutes outside of Roseville?
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me directly for a travel quote.
Do you offer newborn packages?
Yes! I do offer newborn photography.
If you're looking for photos of just your newborn, that falls under my individual session pricing. If you'd like to include parents and/or siblings, it would be considered a family session.
My newborn sessions are more lifestyle-based - I don’t use traditional props or studio setups, but I’ll gently guide you in natural, cozy posing with your baby.
Sessions can take place either outdoors or in your home. (Please note: homes located more than 30 minutes from Roseville, CA 95678 will include a travel fee.)
Do you photograph events?
Yes, I am available to photograph your events such as birthdays or graduations. Please contact me directly for an event quote.
Do you offer extended family packages?
Currently, my family photography packages are designed for immediate families only.
